I started my career in property approximately 18 years ago and during that time saw many exciting changes in the prime central London property market. Certain areas attracted certain sorts of purchasers and varying demands saw new build developments stand next to refurbishment projects of Victorian flats or houses - sometimes on a dizzying scale. It was always changing and always evolving - and always buzzy. London's reputation for being a safe, international city with a good infrastructure, great educational facilities and fabulous shops and restaurants combined with the world renown museums and parks have always made it the best city in which to live and work.
However, much as I love London, I haven't always lived here - I was born in Singapore and grew up in Malaysia and had a sojourn of some 14 years in the Netherlands - so an expat through and through, which has stood me in good stead with my international buyers. I understand the complexities of moving house and country - and swapping into different educational systems.
Besides my love of property, cars come pretty close on the list - in particular, pre 1964 sports cars - and having had the privilege of racing a Cobra 289 for a number of years, can confirm that it's not as easy as it looks!
