Property has been integral to Charlie throughout his life. He inherited his love of property from his mother and was involved in family building projects from an early age. He bought his first tired flat in London aged 19 when working in the City of London and began developing. After six years in the insurance and banking industries, Charlie changed career path to focus on his passion and joined a leading property consultant and quickly became a partner.
During his 13 years, Charlie acted on the sales of thousands of properties in central London, ranging from modest studio apartments to houses in excess of £30 million, and advised individual and institutional clients on asset management, leasehold reform, valuations, alterations, planning and design. Frustrated with the industry and the direction his firm was taking, Charlie left in 2012 to focus his energy on his property development business.
For a long time, Charlie has believed that a new agency model was needed and was immediately taken when Rupert Collingwood explained his new venture over a coffee. Charlie is delighted to be able to invest in and come on board this fresh new approach to selling property.
